THE HOST’S ROOM

Favoured by informal diners, it is the first room as you come in the main entrance. Ticino terracotta floors, a fireplace and old tables give it a homely atmosphere. A favourite with families, it leads onto the garden and play area.

THE LITTLE MEMORY ROOM

Since the early days of the Vecchia Osteria, this dining room with the recessed fireplace typical of those times has often been remembered with pleasure by our people. It is said it welcomed famous personalities, from the distinguished General Guisan to various federal councillors, and it is whispered, even renowned American actor, John Wayne.

THE OLD ROOM

A discreet room with a recessed fireplace dating to 1861, the terracotta floor is made from material recovered during renovation and re-used in its current guise. In front of the fireplace is our “lovers” table.

THE QUEEN’S STABLE

Once used as a stable, it underwent extensive renovation while maintaining the original features typical of this area.

Up to 100 covers

BANQUETING ROOM

On the first floor, connecting rooms with 20 – 30 and 40 covers respectively, ideal for ceremonies for up to 100 guests. A room with fireplace, Ticino terracotta floors and wood beam ceilings , a second similar to the first but without a fireplace, and a third, the luminous “hayloft” overlooking the old farmyard.
